Seriously.

Who cares if it was sped up? Are you guys that fucking insecure about your music that you need it exact even when it's a personal remake? How do you know he didn't intentionally do it? To the guy below me, ignorance is bliss.

Anyways, great remake, I can't really say it's a remix because it actually sounds very similar to the real version, though I haven't heard it in almost a year. Ignore the ignorance of others.

That voice.

That voice is from Top Gear 2, if I'm not mistaken. I wonder if it's sad that I'm a mere 16 years old and can remember such select things from such old games. It makes me proud to show off my gamer blood. Hopefully that clears up some of the questions about the voice, like the review below mine. :)

Anyways, in relation to the song, it's great but short. I enjoy listening to it, but while writing this review it's looped at least 3 or 4 times (I've been tabbing to other screens during this time, I am not a slow typer) and it does get some what boring. You've done much better, but this is still a great piece. I definitely enjoy the Top Gear 2 reference.

Right.

If this isn't stolen then why do you get so defensive, especially towards a guy who didn't even say anything about stealing it. All he said was it was the backround music, and you went off and said you have all the music and you made it and you didn't steal it, etc. I don't believe you now, I think you're just a bullshitter. Good song either way though, stolen or not.

afgc55 responds:

HE DID SAY IT WAS STOLEN! his opening statement was "This is totally stolen" Look at the caption at the top of his review.

Thats why I got defensive. I mean, god dammit... What else can I do but be defensive. Should I have agreed with him that I stole it? By giving all proof in my posts that its an original by me, it somehow disproves that I made it? Did you even go to the link I gave showing that it wasn't the BG music. If you listen to the rest of my music, its obvious its all original. You can't find it anywhere else, so why would I just through in a stolen song? To ruin my reputation? If you really thought it was stolen, you should have given me a zero. Next time look everything over. If something doesn't add up chances are your wrong. And think about these question the next time you post a review. Thats it.

Whew! sorry for the wall of text. And sorry if I'm coming off as a jerk by posting this but seriously, I don't steal. I have an entire post devoted to not stealing on my homepage. I hope that changes your mind. If not, then... I don't really care.

Something about this

Just seems so unreal, almost professional. I've heard 2 pieces so far and they are mindblowing, so good it could bring accusations of theft, bravo.

Ambient.

Sounded simple, not too complicated, but it worked nicely and sounds good. Although, this would be better put under Ambient.

PhoenixGodwin responds:

Thank you for the review and compliment. You're right, I should have put it under ambient, I'm not sure what I was thinking- in fact, odds are I wasn't thinking at all.

Amazing

This is a great remix, somebody should really step this for Stepmania/FFR. I'd have fun with a 12/13 step difficulty on this, I can already tell. Anyways, awesome song, nice remix.

I agree with Lost

This sounds extremely familiar... where is the melody from CnB?

Hmm.

I loved the Intro, Thats definatley from Fort Minor - Believe me. You imitated it perfect, sounds exactly the same.

But then you got to where the lyrics come in, The sound is terrible, The instruments clashed and it was too loud. Its that bad, but I't would be better if you could clear that up, change some parts around. Bring out each part only as much as it needs to be.

You got me to listen to Believe Me though, so grats on that =P

Keep makin music, You'll get better. Your already better than I am ;)

Paulie-Wallie responds:

Thanks for the tips, yeah I'm trying to get better, and I'm glad you listened to it.

Nice.
